This British 'S' class submarine sank twice. The first time was in Portland Harbour in June 1955, after an explosion in her torpedo bay. She was later raised, but was sunk again intentionally in 1957 for use as an ASDIC target. She lies NW-SE and is intact making an excellent dive.
